Simple Update

What a couple of weeks it has been. I have been trying different liquid proteins and getting samples also from some bariatric companies, cant wait till they get here. I was able to find a lot of protein items on sale through amazon.com. when you have a chance go and take a look at it. there are many things there that would save you money just by shopping on amazon.com. Wal-mart is the next place that I was able to find a lot of protein items at discount. When i am looking at protein items I am looking for items with at least 25g of protein, i am required to get almost 90g of protein a day to maintain my hair strength and muscle strenght. It seems hard only because i dont like shakes, making shakes seem so time consuming and I am not a major shake drinker. I am going to try some different flavors that i think I will like a little better. the bullet shots that wal-mart sell seem to be the best for me right now. they only cost 1.97 each and i cleaned walmart out on sunday night.
I have a couple appointments coming up and I am so excited, i think i will be able to make heads and tells out of all this infomration come next week.

Today is Sunday September 13th, 2009. As I go through this journey of blogging my successful weightloss, many questions are beginning to come to mind that I want to address. Today I am going to address the main question of why. Why weightloss surgery?
It’s often stated that weightloss surgery is the easy way out. To that statement I will totally say that I disagree now. At one time I would totally agree. Ignorance allows humans to make decision that are not of the highest calibur. I am one of those young people that have been overweight my entire life. To me having the surgery is not a way out but it will be a tool. I have to change a lot of the things that run in my family and I have to take control of it immediately. On July 8th, 2009 I lost my first son after birth. This has in every way been one major changing decision and has made me totally concentrate on getting my health together. While I was in the hospital the doctor actually came to the side of my bed and said, “little lady its going to be you or the baby” all I could do was stare at him as if though he really did not know what he said. I was totally pissed off. How can a doctor come into a patients room and utter those words to a pregnant women who is trying everything to save her life and the life of her unborn child. It’s not that he was wrong in the statement but in his delivery. But He was right and God choose it to be my son, now he is my angel and my guide to make sure that I get myself together. I believe that God has so much for me to do that he saw fit to give me my own special angel to watch over me. Now I have to take the initative to do it and I am.
I have choosen to go to the Bariactric Solutions in Greenville SC. Dr. Bour and Dr. Scott http://www.bariatricsolutions.com/ are two highly recommended surgeons and I have done extensive research on both.
In my conclusion on the answer to why, I will say that I believe it will be the tootl to a successful and healthy lifestyle.

Appointment with Dietician

Today is my appointment with the dietician, I emailed Carmen ( she the one that helps you through the whole adventure through the doctors office) yesterday and she replied that they got my medical records for my history. That was easy for me to provide cause I have been overweight my entire life. I am really interested to hear what the dietician has to say, I have wanted to see one for years so I will post again when I get out of her office.
